Serving Orange County
Notarization should be simple. Most of the time it isn't.
Nancy's Professional Services exists because people kept getting sent in circles. Told to get an apostille they didn't need, turned away for the wrong kind of copy, or left without a notary willing to walk into a jail. I built the practice around the jobs other people won't take.
- California-commissioned notary public and apostille agent
- Mobile across Orange County and nearby Los Angeles County
- Certified translation and interpreters arranged when needed
- Appointment only, prepaid, and quoted before the work starts

Who you’ll be working with
Straight answers, and the jobs other people turn down.
Bilingual, appointment-only, and mobile across Orange County and nearby Los Angeles County. “I’ll Put A Stamp On It” is the promise on the business card, and it means what it says: you get a straight answer and a real timeline, not a maybe.
How I work
I tell you what something costs and how long it really takes before you pay anything. If an apostille is not the right certification for where your document is going, I say so. Even though it means a smaller job or no job at all. That conversation has saved clients weeks and hundreds of dollars in fees for certifications that would have been rejected.
The flip side is that I hold firm on the rules. I will not notarize for someone who cannot understand what they are signing. I will not fill in your document or tell you what it should say. I will not take residential appointments. Those boundaries are what make the notarization worth having in the first place.
The work I’m known for
- Apostille and legalization. Including telling people when Vietnam, Taiwan, or the UAE means legalization rather than an apostille, the mistake that costs the most.
- Jail and correctional signings. Six facilities across Orange County and Los Angeles County. Most notaries decline this work.
- Hospital and bedside signings. Often urgent, often difficult, always handled calmly.
- FD-258 ink fingerprinting. For the federal and out-of-state checks that Live Scan cannot handle.

FAQ
About the practice
Are you an attorney?
No. I am a notary public commissioned by the State of California and an apostille agent. I cannot give legal advice, explain what a document means, tell you which form to use, or advise you on whether to sign. Doing any of that would be the unauthorized practice of law.
What can you actually do, then?
Verify identity, witness signatures, administer oaths, keep the required journal, attach the correct certificate wording, take FD-258 ink fingerprints, prepare and submit apostille requests, arrange certified translations, and officiate civil ceremonies.
Why appointment only?
Because most of this work is time-sensitive and location-specific. An appointment means I have the right stamps, the right certificate forms, the facility scheduling confirmed, and enough time to do the job carefully instead of rushing it.
What if the signer does not speak English?
California requires the notary to communicate directly with the signer, and a family member cannot interpret for the notarial act. When the signer is not comfortable in English, we arrange a qualified interpreter ahead of the appointment. Translation of the document itself is a separate service, produced by vetted translators.
